Are you interested in Anthropology, and want to see some real artifacts? You can view thousands and thousands of ethnographic and archaeological items online! There are many places to view Anthropological items online, and future blog posts will describe each one, under the title “Anthropology Online.” The focus in this post is on the American Museum of Natural History.

ABOUT THE MUSEUM

The American Museum of Natural History is located in New York City, New York, in the United States. This Museum has sections dedicated to Earth and Space, Animals, Fossils, Environments, and Human and Culture. The Human and Culture sections are the ones that contain Anthropology-related exhibits. In the Human and Culture section, there is something called the Hall of Human Origins, which has exhibits on human evolution. There are also several halls showing the cultures of Asia, Africa, North America, South America, and the Pacific.
